Charlotte & John: 'Our newspaper tied everything together wonderfully and our wedding wouldn't have been the same without it!'

We know just how excited our couples are for their wedding newspapers to arrive and with it being that time, just a couple of weeks before the big day, it all suddenly starts to feel very real.
You’ve picked your playlist, finalised the table plan (after 72 tweaks), and now you’re watching the letterbox like a hawk because those newspapers are the cherry on top. They’re not just another detail, they’re the moment it hits you: this is actually happening.
Charlotte and John hit a new level of excitement and we're SO here for it. Charlotte told us “We were pretty much sat on the doorstep waiting for the postman!!” Honestly, that kind of energy is exactly why we do what we do, it’s not just paper, it’s part of the build-up, the buzz and a piece of your very own wedding history.

The big day... and even bigger wedding newspaper moment!
Charlotte first heard about us on The Unfiltered Bride podcast and, in her words, “knew that it was a bit of me.” Armed with a discount code and a very on-board groom, it didn’t take long before they placed their order.
“Because he wouldn’t dare say no, it was easy to persuade my husband-to-be that we needed them,” she told us. “Weirdly, he was 100% on board! I know I was lucky in that respect, but he was more excited about them coming than I was — and I was bursting, I couldn't wait to see them!”
We’re obsessed with these two already!

One of the easiest decisions we made
Charlotte was a woman on a mission, she secured her spot in our order books and placed the order for her wedding newspapers back in August 2023 - 19 months in advance. I guess when you know, you know...and we're not just talking about the groom!
'The process was incredibly clear and simple. The form you sent was crystal clear and super easy to use!! There were no worries about timescales and they are so affordable!' Music to our ears!
Charlotte chose the A4 booklets for guests to read during the ceremony and included the perfect balance of fun and functional elements. Mrs Freeman's favourite part?
'I loved the front page as it gave the vibe I wanted and just made me feel all 😭😍👰♀️🤯, but everything was perfect! I just don't think the wedding would be the same without the newspapers. The crossword gave some of our guests something to do and was a great talking point. The timeline let some of our not so close friends and family know the story of our lives together so far and we were complimented on the content the whole night long. It just tied everything together wonderfully. Our bridal party popped them on the chairs ready for the ceremony and our guests really enjoyed them - I'm just so glad I kept some behind because everyone took them home! I keep getting messages from our engaged friends too asking for details so they definitely went down a storm!! '

The ICONIC wedding morning shots!
Let's just make it clear here, no man was left behind when it came to those iconic morning shots.
Before we head to print we always check in with our couples to see if they're good for the final number count and to see if they'd like to up the ante with some of our iconic tabloid newspapers to bring the drama for the wedding morning and of course for Charlotte and John, it was a big 'yes!'.
They chose to add on some extra tabloid-sized newspapers and honestly? Best decision ever. They popped them in both getting ready rooms — a simple touch that made for such special, personal photos, and gave their wedding party a chance to soak it all in before the day kicked off.
The perfect addition to the wedding morning prep — something for those quiet moments to gather your thoughts (and your poise) before the whirlwind begins. Plus, your photographer will love you for it.

A final word from The Freemans...
From the moment Charlotte placed her order, there was no doubt this was going to be a special one for the couple. “There wasn’t a thing that made us almost not get you,” she told us. “The process was incredibly clear and simple… the form was crystal clear and super easy to use!”
When the newspapers arrived, it was everything they’d hoped for, and more. “We both cried. With laughter and sadness and joy. They came incredibly quickly, and like I said before, we basically camped outside the front door from the minute we got the email to say they were on the way.”
They chose to go big with additional tabloid sized newspapers, and used them in both getting ready rooms on the morning of the wedding — a decision that not only created some of their favourite photos, but helped set the tone for the day.
Charlotte described working with us in four simple words:“Ethereal. Imaginative. Creative. Perfect. And a definite 5 star service”
And when we asked what she’d say to other couples thinking about ordering their own wedding newspapers?
“Just do it. It won’t break the budget horrendously and it will be so worth it in the end. It makes for a lovely keepsake and a way to bring guests together and up to speed!”
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
